Comprehensive Blog Archive Customization

Configure how your blog posts appear in archive views (main blog page, category archives, tag archives, etc.)

1.1 Layout Options

• Standard Layout: Traditional blog list with featured images

• Grid Layout: Modern grid display (2-4 columns)

• List Layout: Minimal list view without images

1.2 Sidebar Configuration

• Position: Left, right, or no sidebar

• Sidebar Selection: Choose from registered sidebars

• Per-Page Override: Customize for specific archive pages

Recommended Setup:

• Main blog: Right sidebar

• Category archives: Left sidebar

• Tag archives: No sidebar

1.3 Content Display Settings

• Posts Per Page: 6-12 recommended (default: 10)

• Excerpt Length: 20-40 words (default: 30)

• Featured Images: Show/hide thumbnails

• Meta Information: Author, date, categories, etc.

Pagination Options:

• Standard numbered pagination

• Load More button

• Infinite scroll
