Knowledge Base – Essential Concepts

Before customizing Yomooh, it’s helpful to understand these key WordPress and theme-specific concepts.

A. WordPress Basics

  • Posts vs. Pages – Posts are for blog entries, Pages for static content.

  • Categories & Tags – Organize your blog posts efficiently.

  • Menus & Navigation – Customize header/footer menus in Appearance > Menus.

  • Widgets & Sidebars – Add functionality via Appearance > Widgets.

B. Yomooh Theme Features

  • Theme Options Panel – Control colors, fonts, and layouts in one place.

  • Customizer Live Preview – See changes in real-time before saving.

  • Yomooh Core Plugin – Required for advanced features (demo importer, custom widgets, etc.).

  • Global Settings – Set default options for headers, footers, and blog layouts.

C. Troubleshooting Common Issues

❌ White Screen After Activation?
→ Increase PHP memory limit to 256M (wp-config.php).

❌ Styles Not Loading?
→ Clear browser & caching plugin cache (e.g., WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache).

❌ Plugin Conflicts?
→ Deactivate plugins one by one to identify the issue.

❌ Missing Theme Options?
